Planning Center already has the team, the positions, and the weekend plan. Services is where churches schedule worship, welcome, greeters, ushers, hospitality, parking, production, AV, nursery, VBS, and every other ministry that runs on a plan. Church Center is where many of those people already live. What churches often want next is a link they can send to the whole team without walking each person through Services.

MinistryOps publishes a tokenized public sheet per Planning Center team. Existing team members sign up for positions they already hold. People who are not on the team can submit an interest request. Signup writes into the PCO plan. Leaders can see fill-rate and which slots are still open. Volunteers see a sheet that matches the positions they already hold.

Planning Center, Services, and Church Center stay the home for the church. MinistryOps is the public door. We do not replace native scheduling in Services. We do not ask you to keep a second roster. We give you a shareable signup sheet that writes into the plan you already use.

The sheet is public in the sense that you can share one tokenized link. Put it in a bulletin, a QR code, an email, a text, or a group chat. Team members open it and pick a slot. The name lands in Planning Center, so the plan and the weekend stay together.

A nursery team and a VBS team can each have a sheet. So can worship, welcome, greeters, ushers, hospitality, parking, production, and AV. If the team lives in Planning Center, it can have a public signup sheet.

How it works

4. Team members pick slots they already hold.

5. Signups write into the Planning Center plan. Leaders see fill-rate and open slots. Planning Center reminders still apply.

Why this works

A public link matches how people actually volunteer: they tap a URL, they see open slots, they pick one they can keep. Leaders stop assigning a greeter or a production volunteer who then has to decline. The plan in Planning Center is the plan people chose.

Because signup writes into Services, you keep using the rest of Planning Center. Church Center stays where it is. Reminders still go out from Planning Center. MinistryOps is a door into the plan you already run, not another database of people.
