Planning Center

The public signup path uses Planning Center Services. MinistryOps reads the teams, positions, and plans for a published sheet, and it writes a confirmed claim back. Reminders stay in Planning Center.

Connect

Leaders connect with Planning Center OAuth at https://app.ministryops.app/api/auth/pc/login. That login reads a return path and an invite code. It does not take an email address on the URL.

What the sheet reads

For the published sheet, MinistryOps reads Services teams, positions, and plans.

What a claim writes

When a signed-in team member confirms an open position, the server POSTs a PlanPerson to /services/v2/service_types/{id}/plans/{planId}/team_members. The body sets status to C, plus person_id, team_id, and team_position_name.

Interest requests

People who are not on the team can submit an interest request. MinistryOps stores that request. It does not create a PlanPerson.

What this page does not cover

Check-Ins and People exist elsewhere in the product code. They are not this public signup path. This page is not a children's check-in dashboard.

Fill the sheet.

Connect Planning Center, publish a signup sheet, and share the link. Volunteers claim the slots they can keep.
